The Browse Page
This is the main page for your account on iKeepBookmarks.com.
Folders and links are located on this page.
The folders are like your folders on your hard disk, a way to organize your links.
Of course, folders can contain additional folders, as well as links.
Folders have an icon next to them that looks like a file folder.
Links have an icon next to them that looks like a green square.
The green square indicates that the link is valid.
If your link is broken, with a 404 error, this square will turn red.The Menu
At the top of the Browse Page is a menu.
If you are not logged in, it will simply show
Home - Login - Help
If you login, with your account name and password, you will see
Home - Options - Bookmarks - PopUp - Logout - Help
- Options allows you to set security and account options, and update your account information.
- Bookmarks allows you to upload your Netscape bookmarks or your IE favorites.
- PopUp will install a link on your browser that allows you to add pages to iKeepBookmarks.com while you are surfing the Internet.
- Logout will sign you off of your account and return you to the default security level.
Adding and Working with Links
The links bar is where the "Tour" button is located. It normally is green.
If you have security rights, there also are two buttons on the right.
These buttons are "Edit" and "Add."
The "Add" button allows you to add new links under your links bar.
The "Edit" button allows you to change the title, URL, or description of your links.
With "Edit" you also may delete one or more links, move one or more links to another folder, or rearrange the order of your links.
In addition, on the "Edit" screen you will be given 5 blank link entries, so you can add several links at once.Adding and Working with Folders

The search bar is where the "Search" button is located. It normally is grey.
If you type a word on the search bar and click "Search", all of the links (their titles and descriptions) in your account will be searched for that word.
A list of links will appear for any that have a match.
If you type more than one word, only links that have all of the words in them will be displayed.
You also may choose to search all of the listed folders on iKeepBookmarks.com.
Or you can search only the links on the page being displayed.Using the Tour Button
The "Tour" button is located on the links bar.
If you press this button, you will be taken on a "tour" of all of the links under the links bar.
A tour is a frame with a menu bar at the top of the screen.
This menu bar has a "Next" button and a "Prev" button.
These buttons allow you to go from site to site, sequentially.
This is useful if you have several sites you like to visit, say in the morning, one after the other.
Or, if you send a friend the URL that is at the top of a tour,
that person can easily visit your whole set of pages.Hints and Tips
